Finally its looks like the pieces of the weather puzzle with come together for the Piedmont to get some much needed rainfall as we head through the next week. Rain chances will be connected to a cold front that will move into the Piedmont tonight. The front is expected to become stationary over our area through midweek. The actual location where the front stalls will determine how much rain we get over the next few days. Several low pressure waves may develop along the front. If so, this would only increase our rain chances. Our best chance of measurable rainfall will be now through Wednesday.
Monday through Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a good chance of rain showers and isolated storms. The high Monday will be 83, and 82 on Tuesday through Wednesday. Morning low temperatures will be near 70. There will be a 40% to 50% chance of showers and storms on Thursday and Friday with highs in the mid 80’s.
The normal high is 88, and the normal low is 69.
