WASHINGTON, D.C. -- After making history this week, the Wake Forest tennis team had the chance to celebrate at the White House.

Wednesday, the Demon Deacons met President Trump, toured the Rose Garden and the East Wing, and got a special shoutout on the South Lawn.

Wake Forest, the top-seeded team in this year's NCAA Tournament, won its first-ever team championship days before Demon Deacons junior Petros Chrysochos defeated teammate Borna Gojo to become the first Wake Forest player to win an NCAA individual title.
