Dozens of pets at local animal shelters are looking for a forever home. 2 The Rescue helps connect these furry friends with people who want a new best friend.

You can see pets every week on WFMY News 2, but twice a year we bring dozens of pets to the studio for our 2 The Rescue Special.

This year, we brought pets from Guilford County Animal Services, Animal Rescue and Foster Program, and Humane Society of Davie County.

Because the show is an hour long we had to break it into 6 parts for the story. The beginning of the Show is the main video. Here are the other 5 segments that complete the special.

The 2 The Rescue Special is made possible by our awesome sponsors. We want to thank Happy Tails Emergency Vet Clinic, Hart Appliance Center, Happy Tails Magazine, and All Pets Considered.

Check out some of the pets that came in, and go to one of the shelter events to support them.

Best of all, if you see a pet you want to meet, give the shelter a call. We have all the information right here.
