GREENSBORO, NC (WFMY) - The North Carolina DOT have been supporting clean-up efforts along state-maintained roads after an EF-2 tornado slammed neighborhoods in Guilford and Rockingham counties April 15. The NC DOT will continue to remove vegetative debris, from the Right of Way, that is brought by residents to the shoulder of state-maintained roads until 5 p.m. on Friday, June 15.

“We are glad Division 7 crews been able to support our community in northeast Guilford County during this trying time for so many residents left in the wake of this devastating weather event,” said Division 7 Engineer Mike Mills.
