Our sources explained when it's raining, most fireworks can still detonate, because they're inside waterproof bags in tightly-sealed canisters. The danger is when it is storming or lightning.

With regard to humidity, the higher humidity means the more saturated the air. This will make fireworks appear duller. As for wind, too much wind can cause the fireworks to blow toward the crowd and create a hazard.

Lastly, temperature inversion can affect the quality of fireworks. Chilton explained a temperature inversion typically happens at night when the ground temperature cools faster than the air temperature. The inversion creates a cap on the atmosphere, trapping the smoke and reducing visibility of fireworks.
