GREENSBORO (WFMY) - The deadline for those in Greensboro to register for disaster assistance with FEMA has been set for Monday, July 9.

You can register for help by:

Survivors are asked to register for disaster assistance with FEMA even if they insurance. Applicants who use 711 or Video Relay Service may also call 800-621-3362. Those who are deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech disability and use a TTY can call 800-462-7585. The toll-free numbers are available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.

You can also call United Way's 2-1-1 resource and referral line to speak with a live call specialist.

The April 15 EF-2 tornado to brought extensive damage to parts of Greensboro, severely damaging several schools and homes.
