GREENSBORO, NC -- There's a new member of the WFMY News 2 family. His name is Kevin Kennedy - and he's now part of the 2 Wants to Know team.

Before starting, we learned he has a special skill. And it turns out, our Eric Chilton has the same skill! So they faced off in a unique "2 test" we called the penny grab challenge.

Chilton said he learned the trick from watching Happy Days. He said one of the characters would balance a penny on his elbow, then lower his elbow and catch the penny before it dropped. When Chilton was younger and challenged himself to add more pennies as he got older!

So we started the challenge by giving Chilton and Kennedy 20 pennies. Both caught all the pennies before they touched the ground! During the process, Kennedy and Chilton realized they had different techniques and wanted to keep the challenge going.

So they increased in increments of five.

With 25 pennies, Kennedy dropped one. While Chilton grabbed them all.

With 30 pennies, Kennedy dropped two, and Chilton caught them all.

But Kennedy was determined and kept trying. He tried 35 pennies, and caught them all. He also did a few tricks, putting the pennies in two stacks on one elbow, and putting stacks of pennies on both elbows.
